PR & Digital Marketing Executive

Up to £36.5k | Eastbourne

At Bede’s, education is about more than just the classroom; it’s about discovery, community, and ambition. We are looking for a creative, data-driven PR & Digital Marketing Executive, on a fixed term contract, to capture the vibrant life of our Senior and Prep schools and share it with the world.

From interviewing pupils for a front-page press release to optimising a high-performing PPC campaign, your work will be the window through which prospective families see the Bede’s experience. If you have a knack for spotting a great story and the technical skill to make it trend, we want to hear from you.

This is a fast-paced, "all-rounder" role where no two days are the same. You will be the heartbeat of our digital presence and our voice in the media.

• Content Creator & PR Lead: You’ll wander our campuses to find the "newsworthy," turning school highlights into persuasive press releases, newsletters, and blog posts. You’ll also be our bridge to local and national media.
• Digital Architect: You’ll take ownership of our websites, using SEO best practices (on-page and off-page) to ensure we’re found by the right families at the right time.
• Social Media Strategist: You’ll manage our ecosystem of channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more), building a community through organic engagement and targeted paid ads.
• Data Navigator: You’ll use Google Analytics (GA4) and SEMRush to track leads and refine our digital journey.
• Brand Guardian: From proof-reading the prospectus to designing landing pages, you’ll ensure every touchpoint is polished and on-brand.

What We're Looking For?

We need a proactive professional who is as comfortable with technical SEO as they are with editorial writing. The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven PR & Copywriting Experience: You can write "hooky" headlines and professional press releases that get picked up by editors.
• Digital Marketing Fluency: Expertise in managing PPC, Google Display campaigns, and social media advertising (including pixel and conversion tracking).
• Technical Savvy: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and the Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop and InDesign).
• Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in Google Tag Manager and GA4 to turn metrics into actionable insights.
• Relationship Skills: The ability to liaise with busy academic staff, interview pupils, and network with journalists.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position covering Maternity Leave from May 2026 to March 2027, consisting of 40 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.
